Welcome to my Website

I have worked in New York City for over 30 years as a Graphic Designer and Creative Director, specializing in branding, print and digital design, although this website showcases my watercolor painting projects and illustration work.
From 2020 to 2022, I authored, designed and illustrated four children’s books. The first set of books published was a triptic for The Max the City Dog Series. I am currently exploring the opportunities to sell the film rights for the three books to an Animation Studio to develop a children’s television series.

Also since 2020, I started a new watercolor painting journey— I am focusing on that process right now with my daily painting commitment. My watercolor paintings, interpret the scenery around me in my neighborhood—Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, as well as other parts of New York City. My favorite subjects include: include the beach and boardwalk, the ocean, light & shadow, and quiet, reflective scenes of Manhattan’s skyline. I am continually learning, and my painting style evolves with practise and discovering new methods and materials to absorb and implement in my painting.
